Who are we?
Paradise Somali Restaurant & Cafe is the new name since 2025 with a slight change to ownership. Aisha the main founder is still the main and sole owner. The place has been running for years and relatively remained an underdog yet since growing further it has now planted it's presence in London as a top go-to-destination restaurant for truly authentic Somali cuisine in London.
Based in Kentish Town London, Paradise Somali Restaurant & Cafe combines the warmth of a Somali cafe with the experience of a traditional Somali restaurant. Open fairly early till common restaurant hours of 10pm.
There are two seating areas:
1. Front seating area - perfect for solo diners, couples, and small groups enjoying breakfast, lunch or dinner.
2. Backroom - ideal for solo diners, small groups and larger gatherings, with a wider range of seating.
Our 'Why?'
We existing to create a community style space to eat where we instigate inner paradise with our customers. This inner paradise comes from our love for cooking and making people feel good from it as well our vibes in general.

Our unfair advantage is that our menu is varied and based on a high level of chef experience of authentic homemade Somali cuisine. From traditional Somali breakfast dishes and sambusa to popular mains such as Beef Suqaar, Hanith and grilled chicken dishes, Paradise offers a varied Somali menu prepared with authentic flavours and care.
